Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 15, 2026
RFX Virtual Infrastructure ("RFX," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by RFX Inc. and provides cloud-based virtual studio infrastructure and workstation hardware for animation and VFX production teams. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit rfxvi.com or submit a request through our website.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways.
Information you provide directly. When you submit a form on our site, we collect what you enter:
- Trial or demo requests — your name, email address, company name, team size, and any message you include.
- Quote requests — your name, email address, company name, and optionally your telephone number and address, along with the hardware configurations you selected.
- Support tickets — your name, email address, company name, optional telephone number, and the details of your request.
Information collected automatically. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect data about how visitors interact with our site, including pages viewed, time on site, device type, and general geographic region. We also record your IP address when you submit a form, which we use to rate-limit submissions and prevent abuse.
2. Information Stored in Your Browser
Our workstation configurator saves your shopping cart and any promotional code you enter to your browser's local storage so your selections are still there when you return. This information stays on your device, is not transmitted to us unless you submit a quote request, and you can clear it at any time using the "Clear cart" button in the configurator or by clearing your browser's site data.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your trial, demo, quote, or support request and communicate with you about it.
- To prepare and deliver formal quotes and fulfil orders you place with us.
- To improve our website experience based on aggregated analytics.
- To send relevant follow-up information about our services where you have expressed interest.
- To protect our site against spam and abusive automated submissions.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies placed by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to help us understand site usage. These are analytics cookies and do not track you across other websites for advertising purposes unless you have separately interacted with Google's advertising network.
You may disable cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on some websites.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, which may process data on our behalf:
- Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — site analytics
- Fluent Forms — processing form submissions
- FluentSMTP / Google Workspace — sending confirmation and notification emails
- Amazon Web Services — website and infrastructure hosting
- Slack — internal notifications of new inquiries
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their policies if you have concerns.
6. Data Retention
We retain form submission data for as long as it is needed to respond to your inquiry and to maintain our business records, including records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at the address below.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below; we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Our website uses HTTPS encryption and our infrastructure is hosted on AWS with industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Visitors
RFX is based in the United States, and any information you provide is processed and stored in the United States. If you are visiting from outside the U.S., you should be aware that data protection laws in the U.S. may differ from those in your country. By using our site or submitting a form, you consent to this transfer.
10. Children's Privacy
Our services are directed at business professionals and are not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
